Rocking my tubes 25 years ago!

Growing up in the 70’s rocking my tube socks skating around town was a part of my childhood dreams. I loved tube socks! I had most all colors they offered at the time for my simple pleasure of having a sweet collection of striped tube socks made me super duper happy as a child.

After not being able to find good quality ones as an adult I was very disappointed. The ones I bought were coming in from China. The elastic on the welt (top part of the socks) would not hold up and they would just fall down my legs after rocking them a few times. I decided at that moment I would make my own and right here in the USA where they originated. I would make the quality far better and more comfortable. I did so in 2003 and have been adding to the collection ever since. I am now back in tube sock heaven for my childhood dreams are alive.

This one goes out to my Dad!

It was the first time I saw him after he retired from the post office of 36 years in late 2009. After working graveyard shifts for all those years, I’m sure now he is getting some well needed rest. Dad you are my hero! You taught me to always be humble and work hard for everything I wanted in life without any free hand outs. Being a deaf man, you have shown me that anyone can overcome any obstacles in life. I love you ducky and meow mommy!!!
